How we choose Edge Resort locations

Western Australia arguably has the most remarkable coastline in the world – the longest fringing coral reef, the emptiest beaches, the prettiest coves and bays, the best sailing, windsurfing and diving, and the most breathtaking sunsets.

Yet much of the coast remains relatively unknown, with most holiday makers heading to the popular centres of Broome and Margaret River, perhaps stopping briefly at Monkey Mia in Shark Bay.

Edge Resort Group aims to open up more of WA’s coastline to discerning travellers by developing top quality, affordable coastal accommodation in carefully selected locations.

These are places that are known to locals and gradually emerging in the wider consciousness as Tourism WA’s marketing efforts draw attention to Western Australia as “the real thing”.

Some of these locations don’t yet have many – if any – luxury accommodation options, so Edge Resorts plans to put that right by placing quality coastal accommodation right where holiday makers want it.
